I am a PGA Associate and golf instructor based in the Bay Area. After graduating from Chapman University, I competed in high-level amateur and mini-tour events throughout the West Coast. During my playing career, I developed a passion for coaching and began studying the methods of some of the game’s leading instructors.
After relocating to Northern California, I joined GOLFTEC and quickly established myself as one of the Bay Area’s leading instructors, helping golfers of all skill levels improve their performance and enjoyment of the game.
In 2024, I founded Ian Arcellana Golf with a simple mission: to help golfers play better, enjoy the game more, and build confidence through a personalized, results-driven approach. I continue to invest in my professional development by learning from many of the industry’s top instructors, ensuring my students benefit from modern, proven coaching methods.

Coaching Philosophy
My coaching philosophy is simple: help golfers improve through clear, personalized instruction that makes the game easier to understand and more enjoyable to play. Every golfer is unique, so I tailor my coaching to the individual rather than relying on a one-size-fits-all approach.
I believe lasting improvement comes from understanding your game, not chasing quick fixes. By focusing on the “why” behind each change, you’ll gain the confidence to practice with purpose, trust your game on the course, and continue improving between lessons.
While sound mechanics are important, great golf involves more than the full swing. I work with students on all aspects of performance—including short game, course management, and the mental side of golf—to help them become more complete and confident players.
Whether you’re just getting started or striving to reach the next level, my goal is to help you play better, score lower, and enjoy the game more.
